Building a community in the valley to promote gardening

We are a friendly group of gardeners in the Rivelin Valley. Most of us have our own plots, but there is also a shared community plot and continuity beds for anyone who prefers growing at a smaller scale, wants to learn more, or just fancies some practice. Whether you are an old hand or picking up a trowel for the first time, you will find people here glad to share what they know.

RVAS is a hands-on society; we learn, share and muck in together, and good friendships come up along with the vegetables.

If that sounds like your sort of thing, find out how to join us or email rvascontact@gmail.com. And if you are curious how people came to be gardening in this valley in the first place, our history goes back a surprisingly long way.
